These terms cover your use of Perron. Using the app means you accept them. If you don't, don't use it — nothing here is worth agreeing to under protest.
Perron opens an anonymous, location-based chat with the people at your railway station, right now. It is for the Dutch rail network. You need no account: an optional sign-in exists only to back up your passport and carry it to another device.
You are responsible for what you post. You keep ownership of it, and you give Perron permission to store and display it to other people in that place for as long as the room or post lives — which is what posting to a shared room means.
Perron only works if being somewhere means something. Don't falsify your location, script the app, scrape it, or try to post into a station you're not standing in. Don't use Perron to break the law, and don't use it for anything you would be ashamed to say out loud on the platform to the people around you — which, in the end, is exactly what you are doing.
Perron+ is an optional monthly subscription that unlocks cosmetic items. It changes nothing about what you can say, where you can say it, or what you can see. It buys you a nicer avatar and supports the app.
Departure, platform and disruption information comes from open public transport data and is indicative. It can be wrong, late or missing. Always check with the operator before you rely on it. Perron is not affiliated with NS or any transport operator, and is not responsible for a train you miss.
Perron is provided as it is. We don't promise it will always be available, that a room will still be there tomorrow (most are designed not to be), or that a message will be delivered. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from using it.
You can stop using Perron at any time, and Erase this device in the Profile tab deletes everything we hold for you. We may suspend or ban a device that breaks these terms — see zero tolerance above.
If these terms change, we'll update the date above. Continuing to use Perron after that means accepting the new version.
